Let Cape Town Bucket List take you on a thrilling journey as you discover the charmingly sociable Cape Fur seal. They are the biggest fur seals weighing between 100-300 kg. They are often referred to as the puppies of the sea, as they are pleasant and delightfully playful creatures, who welcome human interaction. This top, outdoor activity allows you to ride along and experience Cape Town's aquatic friends up close and personal without having to get into the water.
Hence, those who do not want an underwater experience, but simply wish to share the moment with friends on the boat, are happily invited to do so at a supplementary cost.

Massively impressed with Tjaart and Johan's team. Had the time of our lives which was what we expected. Their knowledge of the area is second to none . Their ability to make you feel calm and help the one's through the experience that might have second thoughts when getting on the boat or in the water, was amazing. The enjoyment of the experience massively out weighs the butterflies and/or the possible fear you might have. Please book with them and you wont regret it. Our seal of approval ;)
We went seal snorkeling with Bucketlist as part of our research trip for an animated film that we are currently working on. So we had a great dose of fun and inspiration for our work. Bucketlist was so professional in assisting us; from making bookings to finally getting into the boat on the day. Our team had an incredible time and some of them mentioned that they will definitely do it again on their own. Thanks!
We was a family of 4, 2 of us did the ride along snorkel viewing and the other 2 snorkel with the seals. It was a really good trip and it was really fantastic to come so Close to the seals :)
