More about Champagne Cruise

The one-and-a-half-hour sunset champagne sailing cruise is an unparalleled way to watch the city and mountains transform as the sun slowly sets over the cold Atlantic Ocean. Board the sailboats, Spirit of Victoria or Esperance, and leave Cape Town behind as the boat sails into the crimson light.

On this delightful sailing adventure you’ll savour a glass of champagne and enjoy uninterrupted views of Cape Town’s sights such as Table Mountain, the Milnerton lighthouse and Robben Island in the distance. Departure times for this sailing vary so that you can see the city in all its guises.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time! Recommended it to our friends who live in the area.

We were fortunate to pick a day with the most amazing weather and we thoroughly enjoyed the cruise out into the bay, watching the sunset while enjoying stunning views of Cape Town from sea and sipping some ice cold local sparkling wine. We saw quite a few seals but no whales or dolphins but it is not whales season anyway and dolphins hardly hang around there all day waiting for tourists. The cruise met our expectations in every way - prompt responses to telephonic questions, efficient booking and payment online and a competent and friendly crew, and most importantly a great cruise. Thank you for an evening to remember.

Perfect crew. Nice experience. We saw whales not usual at this time (end of March ).
