Stellenbosch to Franschhoek in Stellenbosch by Adventure Shop Stellenbosch
This unique E-Bike tour meanders through some of the best well-known wineland scenery in South Africa.
We cycle from Stellenbosch to Franschhoek. Meet local people and taste some of the great cuisines between the Stellenbosch and Franschoek region. Before our bus takes us back to Stellenbosch.
The tour will give the following great and amazing insight and experience.
•Cycle mostly jeep tracks and mountain bike trails over the Helshoogte Pass, a route used by the first Dutch and French families who settled in the Olifantshoek valley in 1688. Later known as Franschhoek. •Fantastic views and sites along the way. •Get a chance to spot Eland and Blue Wildebeest as we cycle along multiple mountain streams in the Banhoek Conservancy. •Exploring the beautiful town of Franschhoek.
Very Important Note not to miss: Riders need to have intermediate mountain biking skills to do the tour and a general fitness level is required. Activity level 3/5 Distance is about 50km with 850m climb elevation

Loved my Ebike ride from Stellenbosch to Franschhoek. The terrain was challenging but Sevo, the guide was great & kept up the pace to suit the group. The coffee & lunch stops were fantastic. I would highly recommend this trip.

Super mooie excursie, zeer goede gids. In overleg met de gids was de tocht in het Afrikaans, mooie taal, mooie woorden. Omdat wij veel ervaring hebben met mtb-en, wat extra tracks gereden. Gids speelde zeer goed in op onze ervaring, vragen en interesses.
