More about Cape Agulhas Private Tour

The tour is private. Approx. 580km & 10 hours round trip

We drive to the southernmost tip of Africa, L’Agulhas (Cape of Needles). Looking across the rugged, boulder-strewn coast and the wild sea, we will consider the early seafarers who braved this coast in their small wooden vessels.

We travel there and back via different scenic routes and enjoy the sweeping views of Overberg’s wide plains, beautiful passes, and one of South Africa’s most spectacular coastal roads. We may find our national bird, the endangered Blue Crane on the way. We lunch at a farm kitchen. We tour at an easy, relaxed pace, with time to stop and enjoy each place. It is a way to spend valuable time well and to taste, smell, explore and listen.”

Your guide and host Jim, guides history, culture, nature, and wine in English and Swedish. He is Cape Town born and has lived most of his life here. He knows all sorts of special places. His love for South Africa motivated him to qualify as a tourist guide and today he is doing what he loves most, sharing his passion for his country and its people. You can ask him what you like.
