Cape Kayaks & Adventures has the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Bay coastline from the sea providing unique and spectacular photo opportunities. Our shop is conveniently located at Three Anchor Bay where all our kayaks are stored on the beach. From Three Anchor Bay we embark on a 3 – 5 km journey either towards Granger Bay or Bantry Bay.
The view of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, and the 12 Apostles is unforgettable. Uninterrupted views of our spectacular mountain range and the sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated and hungry to taste more of what the Mother City has to offer.
The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens, and to one of the favorite hangouts for our endemic Heaviside’s dolphins. They are common companions to our trips - particularly on summer mornings.

This was one of my most special outdoor experiences in Cape Town. The water was very rough going out, so I was anxious initially, but in the end the guides were so expert in getting us through the waves. Once on the open sea, no words can describe the amazing feeling of seeing Cape Town coast in miniature form. And we spend a good long time in the company of a Sun fish, which was the highlight of the trip. Highly recommended for locals and visitors; it makes you appreciate the sea and nature and above all, the exquisite beauty of Cape Town.

We had a great day on the ocean on a this Sunday morning in September 2017. We met at the business at 08:00am. Tracy and Billy made a great effort to talk to everybody. They assured everybody understood what to expect. The weather was marvellous. We did have a bit of a swell though. Billy went out first to show us the save way through the surf onto the open water. We then moved on towards the Cape Town Waterfront. Tracy (the owner) herded the group and gave everybody a great experience. We spotted some penguins and also dolphins. We turned around after about one hour and returned safely to shore.

The kayak trip was very nice and we had a really funny and helpful guide. The beautiful scenery and the clear blue water were absolutely worth it. Although we were not lucky enough to see a whale or dolphins, but you can't influence nature :)
