If you like great cars and stunning scenery then this is the perfect day for you, the enjoyment of both is considerably enhanced by the other. I am from the UK and was initially a little apprehensive as wasn't sure how challenging these cars would be to drive but the steering, brakes and handling are all up to modern standards (it's actually an auto box which I didn't realise so even inexperienced drivers will quickly feel comfortable) and I am also 6ft2 and had plenty of room and was comfortable for an entire day of driving. If like me you think it would be a good idea to drive from Camps Bay along Chapman's Peak via Simon's Town, Boulders Beach and down to Cape Point then you'll have a great time but I highly recommend you get the car as soon as you can as the journey took much longer than I anticipated (don't rely on Google maps for time as road works and road closures due to rock fall are common) and Cape Point can easily have a 45minute queue to get in and is actually a very large park so this might be a bit of a rush so maybe consider saving this for another day and take a bit more time to soak in the amazing scenery and stunning soundtrack of the V8. Don't forget to keep topping up your sun cream and get out there and enjoy it, I know I did!
