Have you ever wondered what it takes to run a big cat sanctuary with over 100 big cats? To gain a greater insight into the daily work of the animal caretaker team and for an in-depth look behind the scenes. The morning will include watching our caretakers feed our Big Cats, a close-up aerial view from the bridge and a tour of the LIONSROCK Clinic, and an exclusive walk through the viewing tunnel followed by a visit to tiger valley. The perfect opportunity to see firsthand how our Big Cats have grown through what they've been through and a better understanding of our work here at the sanctuary. End your morning with a light lunch and take in the magnificent views. Includes a small token gift to remember us by.

I can't recommend this tour enough. Our guide was excellent. We were given really insightful behind the scenes access including a very interesting trip to medical centre. Finally we rounded it off with a lovely lunch which was included in the price of the package. Lionsrock is in our hearts now. We are already planning a two day all inclusive stay. The accommodation there looked great.

LionsRock was our first stopover on our holiday tour. In hind sight we should have ended our tour at LionsRock. The journey to LionsRock was in itself breathtaking. At Villiers we drove via Frankfort. The weather was bright and beautiful. We arrived early so we could savour the vista from the front lawn while having coffee. That was an experience in itself. Then the tour. that was el' supremo. Marvellllllous. The tour guide, (forgot his name,) was an encyclopedia of information. He obviously enjoys his work and talking to visitors. Truly refreshing. He deserves more than a pat on the back. The condition of the animals truly impressed us. The Safari ride and tour of the facilities impressed us. But as great, overwhelming, exciting, memorable the animals and facilities were we have to declare that they/it only came second. On top of the podium is the staff of LionsRock. We would travel that way a million times just to be made welcome and pampered by the staff. (Again, I cannot remember the names.) But a big, ginormous thank you to the staff. Superb. Brilllllllllliant. Of all the places we visited on our tour, the staff of LIONSROCK are worth gold. We will be back and not only for a half day tour. A lazy weekend at LIONSROCK resonates within my being. Once again, "A BIG THANK YOU"
