Guests will be met by their professional guide and open safari vehicle at a designated collection point. (If guests would like to be collected directly from their accommodation, they are requested to discuss this option with the Matumi Team prior to the safari) The vehicle will then depart for the Kruger National Park and the adventure begins! This is a full day excursion (The Kruger Park Full Day Safari will have an estimated duration of 10.5 to 11 hours) and so there will be multiple stops throughout the day for refreshments and for guests to have a break from sitting in the vehicle. Being in an open safari vehicle gives guests the opportunity to view many animals, including the Big 5, up close. Guests will be taken to a main rest camp at lunchtime where they have access to all the camp facilities and can purchase food and beverages. Once the safari has concluded, guests will be taken back to the original designated collection point.

Our safari was an absolutely unforgettable experience, made even more special by our incredible guide, Josh. We drove over 200km through the wild, and every moment was filled with excitement, knowledge, and care. From spotting a full pride of lions resting to stopping for a beautiful breakfast in the middle of nowhere, everything was perfectly timed and well thought out. Josh's knowledge of wildlife, patience, and passion for what he does truly stood out.
