More about Cheetah And Monkey Town Tour

Take your family or group on a full day outing where you can interact with the fastest animals on earth not only that but to pat the cute cheetah cubs.

The day is not complete without a visit to the monkey town where there are more than 250 primates that include monkeys and chimpanzees among other 26 different exotic species of monkeys.

A visit to the mother city is enthralling, captivating and no doubt leaves long lasting memories in every visitor’s heart

Within the large volumes of visitors who visit this beautiful city are groups in all shapes and sizes. But now we would also like those who come as families to visit Cape Town and leave a mark in the hearts of the little ones that is, our kids and toddlers.

Itinerary

Take a stroll through the cheetah outreach project and come face to face with the fastest animal on earth; in short bursts can reach up to 120km/h.

You can choose to go on a guided tour with one of the projects volunteers. These volunteers come from all over the world to fight for the survival of this majestic animal.

Cuddle up with a cute cub or stroke an adult cheetah or encounter a pack of brave Turkish Anatolian Shepherd dogs.

Meanwhile there are photographic specialist taking memorable photos of the action. You can obtain photos at the end of the tour or you can even provide them with your camera and they can take pictures while you are cuddling the cute cubs- “a rare moment indeed”

After that we proceed to Monkey Town which is about 10min away. Can spend up to 20min in the facility’s interaction closure.

Braai/picnic (precooling is required) Swimming Supertube Interaction session- this is highly recommended.

Visitors to this wildlife facility observe monkeys from caged walk-ways that allows them playful monkeys to roam freely on the outside. Some of the animals given freedom to roam while humans are caged are bemars, capuchin monkeys and blue duiker. The monkeys are quite tame and enjoy interaction with visitors.

Visitors can also experience feeding time talks which are done on different slots.
