More about Cape Vulture Project

As our name implies, supporting the conservation of the endangered Cape vulture is of critical importance to us at Cape Vulture Conservancy. We have 728 breeding pairs of this beautiful raptor nesting in the cliffs above us and we work actively with leading conservation NGO Vulpro to help monitor and protect them. Vulture viewing on the conservancy is one of the leading activities offered at Cape Vulture Lodge and dispelling the negative reputations of these birds in our communities is of key importance in helping to protect them and the ecosystem that they are part of.
