More about Panorama Route Full Day Tour

Discover one of South Africa’s most breathtaking scenic drives on this full-day Panorama Route Tour departing from Hazyview.

This guided experience takes you along the dramatic escarpment of Mpumalanga, offering spectacular viewpoints, waterfalls, and geological formations.

The tour begins with morning pickup from lodges within a 5km radius of Hazyview. Guests staying in Nelspruit (Mbombela), White River, or Malelane can also be accommodated at an additional transfer cost.

Your first stop is the iconic Blyde River Canyon, one of the largest green canyons in the world. Enjoy panoramic views of the canyon and the famous Three Rondavels rock formations.

Continue to Bourke’s Luck Potholes, where centuries of water erosion have created fascinating cylindrical rock formations at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers.

The journey continues to God’s Window, offering breathtaking views across the Lowveld (weather permitting). On clear days, you may see as far as Mozambique.

Additional stops may include Lisbon Falls and Berlin Falls, two of the region’s most beautiful waterfalls.

There will be time to stop for lunch at a local restaurant along the route (own account).

After a full day of scenic exploration, guests will return to their lodges in the late afternoon.

This tour is ideal for nature lovers, photographers, and travelers wanting to experience South Africa’s dramatic landscapes beyond the safari experience.
