Experience one of the most extraordinary natural infinity pools in the world Devil’s Pool at Victoria Falls.

Located on the edge of the mighty Victoria Falls on the Zambian side, Devil’s Pool allows adventurous guests to swim right at the lip of the falls during the dry season when water levels are safe.

The experience begins with a boat transfer to Livingstone Island, the historic landing site of David Livingstone in 1855. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by experienced guides who provide a full safety briefing before escorting small groups to Devil’s Pool.

With professional guides assisting at all times, guests can carefully enter the natural rock pool and peer over the edge of Victoria Falls into the gorge below — a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

After the swim, guests return to Livingstone Island for a hosted meal depending on the session booked:

Important Seasonal Information

Devil’s Pool is strictly seasonal and operates only during low water season.

Open Season (Approximate):

Mid-August to Early January (depending on Zambezi water levels)

Closed Season:

February to June (high water season)

Occasionally July depending on river conditions

During high water season, Livingstone Island may operate without swimming access, or the experience may be completely suspended for safety reasons.

All operations are strictly subject to river water levels and safety assessments by the operator.
