Muizenberg beach is where Cape Town locals flock on sunny days. The soft white sand and inviting water make it great for sunbathing, but the waves are where the action is. Paddle out past the breakers for an epic set or, if it’s your first time surfing, sign up for a lesson.
Up for a challenge? Try stand up paddling – a rapidly growing new sport that’ll give you a great workout and unbeatable views of Muizenberg beach from the water. For something more leisurely, stroll past rock pools on the Muizenberg catwalk. Look out for whales between August and October.
