Gunnery Arms & Ammo was established in 2015 as an arms and ammunition dealer in Somerset West, Cape Town. Since then, it has grown to include a firearm licensing centre managed by Gunlicence.co.za (located in the same building at 5 & 6 Melcksloot Village, Somerset Mall, Cape Town.
The new Gunnery Indoor Shooting Range will open in 2022 - it will offer you the opportunity to handle a range of firearms in a safe and controlled environment, whether you’re a sports shooter, a first-time gun owner or looking to do a fun shoot with friends.

Unforgettable John Wick Experience -- Highly Recommended! I surprised my partner with the John Wick experience at Gunnery Gun Shop & Range in Somerset West, and it was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The team was professional, welcoming, and made us feel completely at ease, even if you're not a regular shooter. Safety was clearly a top priority, but it never took away from the excitement --- the instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and really knew how to make the experience fun and engaging. The John Wick experience itself was next-level --- thrilling, well-structured, and incredibly immersive. My partner had an absolute blast, and it was amazing to see how confident and empowered they felt by the end of the session. It's such a unique and memorable experience, especially as a gift or special outing. The facilities are excellent, the staff are passionate about what they do, and the overall atmosphere is professional yet relaxed. We walked away with huge smiles and memories we'll be talking about for a long time. I recently did the Mamelodi Bank Card shooting experience at Gunnery Arms & Ammo, and the total cost doesn't even come close to the experience you get. The range was in very good condition, clean, well maintained, and pleasantly quiet. The staff member who assisted us was extremely friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up buying extra rounds just to extend our time on the range. I'll definitely be coming back to try out one of the other packages.
