Path and Peak Adventures was founded in 2017 by Nick Rocke, a South African-born adventurer with a love for the mountains.
Nick founded Path and Peak Adventures with the ambition of providing incredible outdoor experiences on Table Mountain and surrounds.
Nick is a qualified and registered mountain guide with a passion for finding quiet in nature.

Rob our guide was incredibly knowledgeable of the area providing us with information about the local wildlife and plants. Our group was a mixture of fitness and confidence levels when it came to climbing table mountain. Rob found a pace that suited the whole group and supported us to conquer some of the more challenge aspects by explaining and showing different options of how to get up or down. Rob also correctly predicted the weather taking us out on a day many other guides cancelled.

Thoroughly enjoyed our hike. Nick was amazing. From the booking to arranging everything for my family, everything was perfectly done. We hiked with our kids aged 12 and 8, which was a slight concern for me but Nick assured us that his right hand man Rob would be the guy to guide us. And Rob lived up to that and more. He was incredible. He was friendly and so knowledgeable. I will be doing this again and will be booking with Path and Peak again. Thank you Rob and Nick for arranging a bottle of bubbly (which Rob carried all the way up ). It was a superb 50th celebration.

We had the most fantastic climb ( and unexpected decent ) with Rob our very excellent guide. The weather was v windy as we set off on our path to the top. The guide warned us that the cable car might be suspended due to the conditions. But we set off and found the hike to be challenging but also really enjoyable. Rob took the pace at our pace and chatted about our surroundings with knowledge. Sure enough the cable car did stop. So rather than head to the upper slopes - we stayed in the lower slopes and Rob showed us around the reservoirs - which was just spectacular! We climbed back down Woody Ravine - again challenging- but Rob showed us the way and technique's to make the dissent slightly easier. A fantastic experience.

This was one of the best experiences of my life and being guided by our hiking guide Keith, made it 10 times better! Keith was so experienced with the mountain and the best routes so we had such a fun time hiking up and down Lions Head! Would definitely recommend!
