Our walking tour of Durban with Johnny was great! We got to see a lot of the city that would have likely been inaccessible to us on our own due to safety concerns like the downtown city streets and markets. We felt totally secure with Johnny and his two colleagues that met us to help the group navigate safely through the busy and crowded markets. Johnny is a wealth of information on current events and politics in Durban, and South Africa in general, and was very forthcoming in sharing his perspective. The city markets he took us to were fascinating and definitely the highlight of our visit to Durban, especially the traditional healers market. We also enjoyed the lunch of the local specialty, Bunny Chow (chicken curry). We highly recommend the tour.
