Eikendal Wine Estate Welcome to Eikendal Wine Estate! Eikendal Vineyards is a 76-hectare wine farm situated in the “Golden Triangle” of wine growing, between Somerset West and Stellenbosch. The estate was founded in 1981 by the Saager family from Zurich, Switzerland, who recognized the great potential of the area and wasted no time in modernizing the existing vineyards and establishing the cellar. The Saager family still owns the estate today.
Peter Falke Wines Peter Falke Wines is a boutique winery located in the heart of the Stellenbosch winelands, South Africa. The estate is nestled against the majestic slopes of the Helderberg Mountains and is home to rambling magenta bougainvillea, delicate scented roses, and wild lavender growing alongside carefully cultivated vineyards.
The property, which sits on Groenvlei Farm, is owned by German hosiery mogul Franz-Peter Falke and his wife, Parisian designer Danièle Falke. The estate produces two wine collections: the Signature Range and the PF Range.
Alto Wine Estate Welcome to Alto Wine Estate, located in the heart of the world-famous Stellenbosch winelands. For more than a century, Alto has built a reputation as one of the most respected and oldest red wine producers in South Africa. The estate was founded in 1919 by Hennie Malan, who converted the land into a wine farm and named it Alto, testament to the vineyard’s altitude and their goals for it. Today, the estate is owned by the Capevin Holdings group who also own neighboring wine farms.
Avontuur Wine Estate Welcome to Avontuur Wine Estate! Avontuur Estate is a family-owned wine and thoroughbred farm located in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The estate was acquired by Tony Taberer in 1984. The Taberer family has a rich history in South Africa, with Charles Taberer being the first Taberer to arrive in South Africa as a 19-year-old missionary.
Annandale Wine Estate Welcome to Annandale Wine Estate! This estate is the oldest farm in the Helderberg Valley and has a rich history that dates back to the founding of South Africa. Governor Simon van der Stel granted the title to Jan Wismaar, the property’s first owner, in 1688. The farm was known as Brakelsdal until the early 1800s, when the then owner fell in love with a girl from the Annan River Valley in Scotland, and changed the name of the property accordingly.

My son and I loved this experience. Also, that you can change to a different, more fun loving group, that had space for us. Even though it was a lightly rainy day, it was still enjoyable. Longridge wine estate presented their tasting in such an entertaining way . Their organic wines are really delicious. We also enjoyed the Konkelberg druiwesap . Very good!. Thank goodness we booked for lunch at Webersberg . This was my son's birthday month and they made it exstra special. I'll go back any day and eat there again. I'll also recommend the tractor as a wonderful way of exploring wine farm's back roads

As per usual The Stellenbosch Wine ? Tractor ? was an amazing experience. This was my 2nd time going to celebrate my birthday ? with friends. James (owner/manager- not sure), Lee (guide) and Mike (driver) are phenomenal and make you feel like family. They are so knowledgeable and fun to be around. You get to vist beautiful Wine farms and are treated well. I ordered birthday cupcakes ? freshly made by Spoon Bakery and tasted so delicious- vanilla, swiss buttercream and a blueberry - pinotage jam. It's free in your birthday month or its R330 so worth it in every way- better than Wine tram ?. Highy recommend Eikendal for the best tiramisu.Will definitely be back again soon. If I could would rate it a 6 star experience.

There were 7 of us and we had the most amazing day. The staff were a highlight due to their super knowledge of the wine estates and advice for visiting which estates and in which order. They were funny, experienced and made the day truly special. I have told all of my friends to make this a must next time they are near Stellenbosch. We will definitely be back.
