Isle of Capri cruises with the AFRICAN PRINCESS in and around Durban harbour daily. The harbour tours are especially educational for kids as the boat takes them to points of interest in Africa’s biggest harbour, and shows them the route through which ships enter the harbour, discharge cargo and exit again.
African Princess is a “cosy” boat with seating for 11 pax. The skipper will explain to the passengers with ease about the port and its operation. This boat is also available to go out to sea in favourable weather conditions.
The skipper is in close contact with the passengers and will give a comprehensive guided tour. The trip duration 30 minutes, either down the Maydon Wharf Channel or to the City and Cor Container terminal.
Weather permitting we will go OUT to sea!! Please be at the Wharf side at least 20 minutes before departure.

As a Durban local I am impressed with the service and experience on our Ilse of Capri boat tour. The tour guide is knowledgeable and makes it fun and accessible for people of all ages. There is a lot to see and a lot to learn about on our harbour.
