Pilanesberg Game Reserve is small in comparison to the famous Kruger National Park but there are a lot of animals in the reserve. Last count, there were over 7 000 animals in the compact reserve and at least 300 recorded bird species. It’s almost guaranteed you’ll have excellent sightings of elephant, rhino, buffalo and lion on a day tour of Pilanesberg as well as other predators, an array of antelope and an abundance of plains game.
