Itinerary Depart from Hoedspruit Download PDF Day 1 - Blyde River Canyon 08:30 - 9:30am: Depart from Hoedspruit - Make the most of the daylight and beat the midday heat by getting an early start. Blyde River Canyon and Three Rondavels - One of the world's largest canyons, Blyde is known for its breathtaking flora and fauna. It is the largest "green canyon" in the world due to its abundance of lush subtropical vegetation and outcroppings of red sandstone. - The mountain peaks at Three Rondavels are shaped similarly to the classic beehive cottages seen throughout Africa. They provide a breathtaking vantage point over the Blyde River Canyon. God's Window - God's Window is a well-known lookout spot that provides panoramic vistas of the surrounding area. You may be able to see as far as Mozambique and Kruger National Park on days when the weather is really clear. The Pinnacle - This towering rock is another one of the region's recognisable landmarks. It is a lone quartzite column that rises from the midst of dense indigenous forest. Lunch in Graskop - A good place to take a break is the quaint little hamlet of Graskop, which is known for its forests. In this area, which is famous for its pancake houses and other local eateries, you may take your time and enjoy a leisurely lunch. Lisbon Falls - Lisbon Falls, the region's highest waterfall, cascades in two separate streams over a 90-meter precipice. 16:00 - 17:00: Drop off in Hoedspruit. This itinerary assumes a normal pace, with approximately 30 - 45 minutes spent at each location throughout your visit. You can, however, adjust the length of time you spend at each location based on your own unique interests and preferences. Return Hoedspruit
