My family of 4 signed up for snorkeling with seals in plettenberg and it was amazing from the start!! We were greeted warmly and fitted with wetsuits, as the water was about 12 degrees Celsius. We were taken out to where the seal colony was and they did not disappoint! Seals were playing with our snorkel fins, swimming around us, and popping up in front of our faces! We loved every minute of it. There was a photographer with us as well so we were even able to buy a DVD of photos from our adventure. As an added bonus we got to see whales on our way back to the beach! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone! So happy we did it!

We went out on 17/12/2013 not knowing what to expect. Met up with the friendly staff at the office who quickly put our nerves to rest. a Short but exciting boat trip took us to the seal spot and with the help of the guides we were soon in the water and swimming along with the, inquisitively, playful seals. The guides/skipper knew so much about the seals and made the trip an experience we will never forget.

Swimming with seals was a great experience, staff was knowledgeble and found the right balance between adventure and safety. I Can recommend this. Waiting area, shower, checkin procedure and left luggage facilities had some room for improvement but were ok more or less. O Roemer, Germany
