Track Down Africa’s Fantastic Beasts Through Private Big 5 Reserve

Wherever you are in the Zulu Kingdom you are no more than 3 hours from Africa’s iconic Big 5. Today, however, you shall be a whole lot closer. We’re hitting the road pretty early on this one (05h00). As you know wildlife, especially predators, are most active around dawn and dusk.

Enter the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve and enjoy a 2 hour morning game drive in one of our Hyundai H1 vehicles (Please note — this is not an open safari 4×4). Hluhluwe-Imfolozi is renowned for its White Rhino — after all it saved the Southern White Rhino from extinction. Keep your Carl Zeiss Terra ED 8×42 Binoculars on hand, you never know what’s waiting around the corner.

Opinions On Zululand Safaris

What the locals say about Zululand Safaris.

Bruce Barron

Fantastic. Roof of Africa did a great job trying to respond to a special request and to a last minute change. This was our thrd holiday in South Africa but our first time to Monyoni. It was truely a fantastic adventure. We saw more cats here than at any of the other parks that we have visited. See pictures of a pair of amourous lions and of a mother cheetah with her cubs. Shortly after taking this family photo, the cubs started having lunch on an impala while mommy stood guard.

Himeville

Himeville was named in 1902 after the then Prime Minister of Natal, Sir Albert Henry Hime, a road engineer elected as Prime Minister of Natal in 1889.
