Enjoy this exhilarating 2-hour boat trip and dune walk that makes the most of this region near Port Elizabeth and Addo Elephant National Park. The boat trip will wind its way down the scenic river before depositing you in the midst of South Africa’s largest dune field for a walk on the beach.
The Alexandria Coastal dune field offers a unique landscape to wander around and you can expect to give your calves a good workout while taking in the panoramic views. On the return boat trip, look out for some of the bird life that has made the area world-famous, or simply sit back and soak up the sun.

Lovely morning on Sundays River - the trip included time to get off the boat and climb one of the amazing sand dunes. It was all very gentle and the guide told us where to look for particular birds and other points of interest which was helpful. Take a hat as it can get hot and a sweater or jacket, as it can be quite cool if there is a breeze. No refreshments provided, a bottle if water is a good idea too
