Visit 5 estates in the Stellenbosch region with a guided drive through the town itself, being one of the oldest towns in SA and famed for its Cape Dutch style architecture as well as its major role in SA’s wine industry. All farms on this route are meticulously chosen so that one will experience a broad spectrum of iconic estates as well as smaller family run farms. A real authentic experience.

We had a blast on this tour! Etian was such a fun tour guide and we loved all the places he took us. Seeing the duck parade was so cool. We had such a great time with the tour group that we had Etian drop us all off together so we could have dinner together.

What a lovely day out in Stellenbosch with Lord Le Gend! We were very lucky with the weather, and it was a balmy 26 degrees and sunny (remember, June is winter in South Africa). We were at the first vineyard before 10 o'clock and we got a very informative speech about the farm from a very passionate JP (thank you also for letting us spend so much time cuddling your two beautiful Ridgebacks!). Next was a delicious wine and chocolate pairing, then lunch (a braai and more wine). After that we went for bubbles and then finally a wine and cheese pairing. Lord Le Gend was a true legend for putting up with three very talkative people - he barely got a word in edge ways the whole day! The price is certainly worth it - many times I have been the dedicated driver whilst my husband gets to taste wine, and it was wonderful to enjoy the day without having to worry about how much I had had to drink. Le Gend was a very safe driver, and very knowledgeable. Thank you again.

We had a great time during our Stellenbosch wine flies tour. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and made the excursions very enjoyable. Lunch was given to us at a quaint farm and afterward we enjoyed seeing all the animals. The butternut soup was absolutely delicious but the toast sandwiches would have been so much better if they were served using the fresh stone cooked bread “roosterkoek” that we saw being served to everyone else. And would have provided a great South African touch. Each winery we visited had something unique to offer and we loved the food pairings, especially the chocolates! All in all it was a great trip. I highly recommend the wine flies tour!
