Start the morning off with a guided drive to Stellenbosch and visit our first farm which is a boutique wine estate with stunning views of the Stellenbosch mountains and experience intimate cheese & wine pairing with the wine maker when she is around. We head to the cuisine capital of SA, Franschhoek. We visit our second farm situated on the foot of the mountains for a world class wine tasting experience. Followed by a beautiful lunch and wine tasting at yet another award-winning estate. In Franschhoek you will have the chance to walk off your lunch, strolling down the main road. We head back over the stunning mountains to Stellenbosch for a guided drive through historic Stellenbosch and onto our last farm for a cellar tour, wine and chocolate pairing. Filled up and merry, we head back to Cape Town to be home at about 5:00pm.

We had a wonderful day and our guide was really warm, friendly and informative. The 4 vineyards were all different and interesting in their own ways. From worker ducks, large cats and a wonderful Braai, we were spoilt! A huge thanks from all of us!

The classic private tour with Wineflies was great fun. Visiting and tasting at a few smaller producers was exactly what we were looking for and the quality was high. The freedom to take as little or as much time as we liked and to be able to interact directly with the producers was also good, this would not be so simple with a larger group. The food provided was good and well timed. Thank you for a great day out.

Our Classic Private Wine Tour with Wine Flies was absolutely amazing! They picked us up and dropped us off at our Air B&B and we spent the day visiting 5 different wineries. Each one was unique and provided us a special tasting experience. Our driver was incredibly knowledgeable and made our day absolutely perfect. He even stopped off at Van Ryn's so we could grab a bottle of that fabulous 15 yr brandy as we were nearby at one of the wineries. We would definitely do this or a similar Wine Tour with Wine Flies again on our next visit to South Africa.

We did the classic private tour, and we couldn't be happier. Jakobus was an outstanding guide, and we really enjoyed each stop along our tour. He was very passionate and knowledgeable, teaching us all of the things that make South African wine unique and delicious. Would highly recommend.
