Start the morning off with a guided drive to Stellenbosch and visit our first farm which is a boutique wine estate with stunning views of the Stellenbosch mountains and experience intimate cheese & wine pairing with the wine maker when she is around. We head to the cuisine capital of SA, Franschhoek. We visit our second farm situated on the foot of the mountains for a world class wine tasting experience. Followed by a beautiful lunch and wine tasting at yet another award-winning estate. In Franschhoek you will have the chance to walk off your lunch, strolling down the main road. We head back over the stunning mountains to Stellenbosch for a guided drive through historic Stellenbosch and onto our last farm for a cellar tour, wine and chocolate pairing. Filled up and merry, we head back to Cape Town to be home at about 18:00pm.

****IMPORTANT**** Pick-up time for the Cape Town City Bowl is from 08:30 - 09:00am Pick-up time for the Atlantic Seaboard (Waterfront, Green Point) is 09:00 - 09:30am Pick-up LOCATION for Camps Bay, Sea Point, Southern + Northern Suburbs is at the Never@Home Guesthouse on 73 Kloof Street between 08:30 - 09:00am Pick-up TIME and LOCATION for Stellenbosch Guests is the Stellenbosch Tourism Office on Church Street between 10:00 - 10:30 PLEASE WhatsApp us if you are unsure: +27 81 500 8595 NOTE: If you are waiting at a hotel / guesthouse, kindly let reception know where you are waiting so that your guide can easily find you : ) The drop off will be between 17:30-18:30PM depending on how much the group enjoys their day our in the Winelands with Wine Flies.

Weather:

This service is not weather dependent. Any day is a great day for wine tasting in the Winelands.

What to Wear:

Dress comfortably as you will be going up into a couple of cellars and they have a few flights of stairs to experience the wine making processes.

Things to bring:

Be sure to bring your own cloth face mask, sunglasses, camera and some sunscreen.

Only paying guests will be allowed on the tour.

Inclusions:

A cellar tour, all wine tastings paired with customized cheese, chocolate and cured meats, as well as lunch are included. • We visit 4 different wine estates in both regions (famous farms and some hidden gems only known to locals). • Pair a variety of locally produced, world-class cheeses. • Cellar and vineyard tour, teaching us how wine is made, how to taste wine, food and wine pairing, what bottle to order at restaurants... • A beautiful light lunch is served in the middle of the wine lands overlooking the Franschhoek valley. • A diverse range of wine styles. • Local treats of cured meats paired with selected wines. • Artisanal chocolate (Fair trade accredited) paired with different wines. • Stroll down the beautiful main road of Franschhoek.

Exclusions:

All other meals and drinks and items of a personal nature. Gratuities and guide tips.

We had a really nice wine tour to Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. The wines we got to taste were delicious and the combination with food (Cheese, billtong, lunch, chocolate), a little stroll through Franschhoek and a nice guide as well as a nice groupe made this experience to a really great day during our 2 weeks trip to South Africa and the Capetown area. The recommandation for good coffee was perfect too.
