Due to variable weather conditions and shark activity, diving may not always be possible and is therefore not guaranteed. The boat tour we offer consists of approximately 3- 4 hours at sea. Time related itineraries and collection times are dependent on tides, weather conditions and the number of scheduled tours for a particular day. Exact collection times are therefore only available after 16h00 the day before and may vary between 04h30 and 11h30.
Meet the team for a light breakfast and your introductory briefing at the Cape Shark Adventures Crew House, snacks and soft drinks are available on our boat, Barracuda. Fresh towels, wet suits and diving masks are provided and there are hot showers available on return to shore.
You DO NOT need to be a qualified diver to enter the cage as we use a simple breath-hold technique whilst in the cage. Children as young as 12 years old are also allowed to get into the cage.

Had an amazing shark cage diving experience! The entire team was incredibly friendly, professional, and cooperative, making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip. I experienced a bit of sea sickness during the boat ride, and the staff were very attentive. They patiently guided me on what to do and provided cold water, which helped me feel much better. Their care and support really made a difference. The crew was knowledgeable, well-organized, and always willing to help. Seeing the sharks up close was absolutely unforgettable and a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. Overall, I loved the experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting and memorable adventure.

The team was lovely, friendly, helpful. I felt they were competent, their gear, equipment and facilities were clean and up to scratch. All in all they knew what they were about and if you're considering cage diving they are a good enough option (all cage diving happens in the same general area anyway) The diving experience itself though was not ideal. Visibility under water wasn't great and water was getting in through the nose masks. We saw quite a few sharks, but I wasn't as impressed by the actual dive as I'd hoped. If you do go, confirm with them the level of visibility.
