Due to variable weather conditions and shark activity, diving may not always be possible and is therefore not guaranteed. The boat tour we offer consists of approximately 3- 4 hours at sea. Time related itineraries and collection times are dependent on tides, weather conditions and the number of scheduled tours for a particular day. Exact collection times are therefore only available after 16h00 the day before and may vary between 04h30 and 11h30.
Meet the team for a light breakfast and your introductory briefing at the Cape Shark Adventures Crew House, snacks and soft drinks are available on our boat, Barracuda. Fresh towels, wet suits and diving masks are provided and there are hot showers available on return to shore.
You DO NOT need to be a qualified diver to enter the cage as we use a simple breath-hold technique whilst in the cage. Children as young as 12 years old are also allowed to get into the cage.

The team was lovely, friendly, helpful. I felt they were competent, their gear, equipment and facilities were clean and up to scratch. All in all they knew what they were about and if you're considering cage diving they are a good enough option (all cage diving happens in the same general area anyway) The diving experience itself though was not ideal. Visibility under water wasn't great and water was getting in through the nose masks. We saw quite a few sharks, but I wasn't as impressed by the actual dive as I'd hoped. If you do go, confirm with them the level of visibility.

Booked a 9am slot to then receive a WhatsApp message after payment to say that there was only a 7:30am or 3pm a lot due to weather. Reluctantly changed to the 7:30 slot to then see the 9:30am trip leave once we returned. Very misleading service basically took my money then forced me to change my plans, had to drive 2 hours to make it for 7:30 when actually they did have a 9:30 trip which must have been fully booked - in that case the website should be updated to not allow more people to pay for the 9am slot

The shark cage dive was as incredible and unique as I'd hoped! To make it a five-star experience, I'd suggest the company look into their wetsuit inventory, as a poor fit caused mine to leak and led to me getting too cold to do more than one dive. Offering a warm beverage to guests after they exit the water would also be a wonderful touch. The main event was unforgettable, and with these small changes, I'd be back in a heartbeat!
