When we were on the river it was a wonderful, tranquil experience. The scenery is beautiful, there's birdlife to watch and we had the benefit of 2 guides sharing their knowledge with us. As the river was relatively low on our trip there were some shallow and rocky sections which we we had to 'bump' overselves over to avoid getting stuck and in some places we went through quite narrow channels with lots of vegetation (both of which which was fun). There's a stop around half way through the experience to get out, have a short walk (with the guides imparting lots of fascinating information about the local flora) and grab a drink and snack. I spend a lot of time at a desk/computer so am not very fit but I found the experience very 'do-able' and the canoes are very stable. Also worth bearing in mind that the start time on the website and email confirmation is the time the tour actually starts rather than when you need to arrive by. So, avoid our mistake, and arrive in good time.
