We have had a really good experience in the open vehicle. Great guide who could answer every question we had. He explained a lot about Nature and history. Lunch was awesome, freshly prepared.

Our excellent guide tailored the experience to our interests of bird watching along the river. He was knowledgable and paced the kayaking to give us the best chance of spotting the birds. The whole set up felt very professional and well run.

Our safari with Criss Cross Adventures was once again an incredible experience. I first visited South Africa in 2018 and was already deeply impressed back then. The experience stayed with me, so this year I decided to return -- this time with my wife and my mother -- and book another safari through Criss Cross. It was absolutely the right decision. There is something truly special about driving through the African bush, surrounded by nature, quietly scanning the landscape for wildlife. The anticipation, the atmosphere, and the beauty of the scenery make every moment exciting. Our absolute highlight was seeing the lion cubs that were only a few weeks old, together with their mother. Watching them in their natural habitat was unforgettable and very emotional for all of us. If I had to mention one small point, it would be that the lunch break felt a little long for my personal taste. However, we really appreciated that the meal was included in the package and well organized. Overall, it was a fantastic experience once again, and I would happily recommend this safari to anyone visiting South Africa.
