The main focus of the interaction is to promote elephant conservation through up-close education to teach visitors that elephants should be treated with care, respect, and consideration.
Visitors have the exclusive opportunity to observe the herd in close proximity, learning more about their behavior, unique character traits, incredible story and what it entails to take care of them.
The experience takes place while the elephants are in their natural environment with great photographic opportunities.

What a fantastic time we had at the elephant interaction. The staff are so passionate about the elephants and it truly shows, they care after them exceptionally well and are so knowledgeable, and the elephants clearly love them back! A definite must do if travelling to the Kruger area!

We had a fantastic experience at Elephant Moments. The stories were captivating and we were able to get up close and personal with these gentle giants and touch and feel them. Each one had their own unique personality and the staff that look after them really care for the elephants. This is definitely an experience that I would recommend for any animal lover when they are in Hoedspruit.

Your staff at Herd, in spite of the repetitive nature of dealing with tourists and, I'm sure, repeated questions, are just amazing - so welcoming, patient and enthusiastic. I will be back!
