Guests receive a warm African welcome as they step into the cool, open-air reception area of the expansive Main Lodge. The sounds and smells of the bush are carried in on the breeze, wafting gently through full-length glass sliding doors into a spacious thatched restaurant. An enormous wooden deck steps down into a large Infinity Pool which provides one-of-a-kind views of the Lowveld’s rolling hills and valleys.
Furnished with modern ethnic decor, our open-air lounge provides the perfect spot to complement the scenery with a sunrise coffee or sundowner cocktail… Or simply a relaxing space to bask in the stillness of the mild winter sun or provide the perfect perch from which to observe the spectacle of the mighty summer thunderstorms.

The Safari tour was the best! We enjoyed the drive and were able to spot 4 of the big 5! Our driver told us we're were very lucky. Seeing the leopard cross the road in front of us was the highlight. The tour was very long but worth it. The only downside was the windy morning drive to the Kruger. We underestimated the wind and didn't know we were going to drive about an hour to the Kruger in the Safari car. The driver closed the sides of the car but the wind was still strong from the front. Maybe guests should be notified day before of this so they can take a blanket or given an option to drive themselves to the Kruger and meet the driver there? Surely some plan can be made to avoid that wind. Other than that, we had a great time! Thanks to the staff and the driver.

What an amazing experience it was indeed... Together with me I had my family in law from Mexico and they always wanted to experience a real South African Safari and we were all very satisfied at the end of the trip. We all want to give special thanks to our driver... Ervin / Alvin / Elvis, he was making fun that he has been called a lot of names :), thank you for the amazing experience that you gave us and all the information you gave us. Ervin even stayed longer with us for the drive, because we all really wanted to see lions. He asked a lot of questions to people driving past, colleagues over the radio and all we could hear from them is that they spotted lions in a very far distance. But that did not stop him from making his people miss it, he went to the sighting areas and used his very special knowledge of the wildlife and we were able to track them down, so well that they were walking right in front of us, on their way to hunt their next prey We were able to see 4 of "The Big 5" and also a lot of different wildlife (antelope, zebras, birds, hyenas, bush pigs, giraffes, etc...) . An absolute great pleasure for all of us to have had this amazing experience, together with a very intelligent, friendly and funny driver

Fantastic stay! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The lodge is beautifully set on a farm, where you can spot wild animals in the garden---if you're lucky, even giraffes! The room was spectacular---clean, warm, and comfortable. There's also a cozy bar and restaurant in the living area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evening. Highly recommend it!
