Is there a 10 out of 5 stars review? This would be it! This was my son's first horse ride and this was an unbelievable way to start! By the end he was cantoring! One of the three guides really took care of my son the entire time which meant that I could enjoy the ride without worrying he would fall off! On top of this - it's a beautiful beach! This was no nose- to-ass ride that I am used to in the USA. I really got to RIDE! I cannot wait to come back!

I loved this activity so much! Riding a horse on the beach was one of my dreams, and I am so glad I could fulfill this one in South Africa with Papiesfontein. The horse I was riding, named Rex, was very sweet and beautiful, and the guides were very kind. The landscape was amazing, not only the beach but also the sand dunes. I will definitely come back!
