A family-run business specialising in family-friendly, child-orientated nature activities, small group safaris and shore excursions in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park and the iSimangaliso Wetland Park in the heart of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.
Going on safari is such a unique experience, it is about more than just seeing animals in the wild. It is about soaking up the sights, sounds, smells and even tastes of the bushveld. You want to leave with memories that will last a lifetime (along with those amazing pictures).
We focus on small group safaris (including shore excursions) so that you, our guest can get to know your guide, and your guide can get to know you. This means you can really learn about life in the bush as well as life in South Africa in a more informal setting.
As a family of 5, we also know how challenging it can be to get children out and about enjoying our natural world. This is why we have developed a range of safari experiences just for families. With activity packs, snack packs and a pace that suits children, everyone can enjoy the ride and it's educational too! No technology, just a good time out in the bushveld!
Ashley and Katie met on one of the local Big 5 game reserves and realized then their shared dream of educating children and adults about the natural world. This is at the core of their family life, with days spent looking for wildlife on game drives, learning about the unique flora, saving disorientated dung beetles and rehoming lost geckos within their family home.
Life is certainly never dull, come and find out for yourself!

We had a fantastic day ! We were met off the ship and enjoyed all the day offered . We of course saw many animals on the reserve but also some of the South African countryside and towns on an enjoyable drive to the reserve . Do not hesitate to book this and ask for Ashley !

Great all-day experience I spent just under 14 days in St Lucia and wanted to get to know the iSimangoliso Wetland Park. Ashley picked me up from my accommodation early in the morning. We then spent a whole day in the park. Ashley showed me not only the big animals, but also the small ones. He has a wealth of knowledge and is excellent at communicating this. He is able to cater for all needs. The places for breakfast and lunch were well chosen and his wife Katie also provided homemade banana cake.

Excellent Tour! We had a wonderfull day from the first to the last minute. Our driver was waiting in a comfortoble mini bus direct in front of the cruise ship well in time and drove us to the national park. At the gate we changed to an open safari jeep. Our driver Arno had a lot of experience and spotted animals more often than the three of us. He drove safely and always place the car in the best position for us to take fotos. There was water, soft drinks, wine and beer available. During lunch time he had a wonderful place and offered a great barbecue lunch ( table and barbecue facilities were available at the spot) with Meat, Saussages, Salad, veggies, bread and drinks. All tastes very well and while eating we could watch an elefant in the river. We spent 10 hours in the park and enjoyed every minute. We had enough time to stop for half an hour and follow a group of 4 Rynos. A perfect day with a perfect guide! Going back to the gate our driver was already waiting, dropping us safely at the cruise ship. All very well organized. Thanks ?
