The SkyWalk is an opportunity to experience more about of the bungy jumping operation and learn about the construction of the bridge. The SkyWalk starts with some general information and an awe inspiring view of the Bloukrans River Gorge and the massive expanse of the arch Bridge where the Bungy takes place.
The tour then moves to the museum. Here you will learn more about the history of Bloukrans Bungy jumping operation and its influence on Bungy jumping in Southern Africa. We also delve into the amazing engineering used to build this mega structure.
Included in the tour is the exhilarating experience of walking on the suspended walkway 216 meters above the Bloukrans River. It is bolted to the underside of the road deck and leads out to the top of the arch where the bungy jumping takes place.
For those brave enough we offer an optional “lean out”. This entails having a full body harness fitted, connecting to two safety lines and stepping up to the edge of the bridge. Whilst secured to the safety lines, you get the chance to lean out over the edge.
