The Crags area, located just outside Plettenberg Bay, is a rich bio-diverse region in the Western Cape known for its wildlife and elephant experiences. Framed by the Tsitsikamma Mountains and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, this is a special place to enjoy an intimate encounter with elephants.
This special elephant experience, which takes place at the start and end of the day, includes an introduction to the elephants in the forest and the opportunity to brush and feed them. Then take a walk hand-in-trunk with these gentle giants. A DVD of your elephant experience can also be purchased.

Brilliant! Great to get so close to the animals. The activity was very well organised and the guides very knowledgable! I would definitely do it again!,

What a fantastic experience. Getting so close to such extraordinary animals was a real privilege. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions, and were great with the kids. We all had a wonderful time and I couldn't recommend this highly enough.

We've been to other "Elephant Tours" and wanted to go to something "new" for us. Our daughter, who lives in China, visited us recently and after reviewing different sources decided to go with her family to your Sanctuary. They we're so very much impressed from the beginning to the end especially about the guide with all the valuable information they received from him. Hearing this from our quite critical family members, we also decided to go and take the opportunity to visit the "Elephant Sanctuary" We took friends with us who have never been to SA . before. They along with my husband and myself will never forget that day- although it was quite rainy it was a most wonderful and impressive experience . We all wish you and your crew all the best especially in the caring of those wonderful creatures. Thank you
