Mossel Bay has an ocean adventure for all seasons. Enjoy wintry whale watching, summer sunset cruises, autumn’s eco marine safaris and seal island trips all year round. Explore the harbour and see the Indian Ocean’s seals, whales or dolphins on one of Mossel Bay’s boat trips.
Halfway between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town, Mossel Bay makes a great rest stop. Sunbathe on Santos or Hartenbos beach, two of its blue flag beaches, amongst others. Visit the oldest post office in the world, Mossel Bay’s Post Office Tree and soak in some of this old trade route’s history.
