On a boat trip, expect to board a powerboat, sailboat, ferry, yacht, barge, catamaran, pirate ship or other similar vessel to leisurely cruise on a river, lake, canal or the ocean. The body of water dictates the boat. Life jackets are a must and safety procedures are explained before setting off.
Watch whales and dolphins or hippos and crocs on boat trips. Sunrises and sunsets are always good, too. Light snacks and refreshments are sometimes offered, and larger vessels may have WC facilities on board. Boat trips are included in water activities like fishing, waterskiing or tubing.
