Dyer Island Cruises proudly offers a unique Marine Big 5 Safari in the picturesque fishing town of Gansbaai, nestled in the Overberg region. During whale season you may well see all 5, being, the Southern Right Whale, Great White Shark, Seals, Penguins and dolphins.
Founded in 2000 by Wilfred Chivell as the first-whale watching business in the region. Dyer Island Cruises is a leader in its field and has made great contributions to marine conservation as well as unrivaled knowledge of the marine eco-systems in the area.

The big 5 tour from Gansbaai was truly amazing. Our pilot and our nature guides along with the crew were excellent, very kind and knowledgeable. We saw Right Whales, endangered humpback dolphins, a huge pod of common dolphins, fur seals, and many sea birds such as Skua and Petrel. The boat is quiet and powerful, with great viewing locations on both decks. I love the focus on conservation! Would highly recommend!

This was an amazing tour! We saw whales, dolphins, seals, and many other things. We ended up being in a pod of what they estimated to be over 800 dolphins. It was an unforgettable experience! Everything went well from the time we were picked up from our hotel to the time we were dropped off. I highly recommend this,
