Pro Dive is a PADI 5 Star Career Development Centre and we offer a wide range of underwater programs for the whole family from beginner to instructor courses, all conducted by highly qualified instructors.
The company was started over 23 years ago by Louis and Michelle van Aardt who had a passion for diving and travel. Over the years they have grown Pro Dive from a small outlet known as the “Red Windmill” on the Port Elizabeth beachfront, into the trusted and quality world-class brand that it is today. It was a combination of the love of diving, the ocean, working with people, travel & a passion for conservation that inspired them on their journey.
The head office is based in Walmer, Port Elizabeth and the facility includes a purpose-built heated training pool, lecture rooms, showers, coffee shop, offices, fully stocked showroom, service center & travel office to cater to all your diving requirements. The satellite office at Hobie Beach is used for diving charters and beach activities.
Pro Dive has also expanded along the Garden Route and has a second branch in Plettenberg Bay, known for its superb natural beauty and abundance of marine animals. A great "second stop" if you are traveling along the Garden Route.

The dive itself left me speechless too, I got to see a raggy, plenty of colorful corals and fish, and a bronze whaler shark !! I will be diving with them again asap and can't recommend it enough.

We had two dives on the day and had perfect conditions. I've never seen so much sea life, it was unbelievable!! As far as the Prodive staff was concerned, everybody was their friendly and professional selves, as they always are. One wish though is that communication regarding upcomming dives the day before occurs sooner. I understand sea conditions play a role, but still. What a pleasure it is to dive with such a professional outfitter, doing the right things all the time. Staff are Always friendly, ever willing to go the extra mile, and yet professional about what is possible and what not under the conditions. Most importantly it is safety first. I will recommend Prodive to anyone, thank you!

This was one of the BEST dives I have experienced in Port Elizabeth. The weather was very kind to us for a December dive and we managed to get across the bay for this special dive near St Cruse Island. It is a long boat ride but well worth it. The reef and the environment is fantastic to see. Water was a bit cold as is normal this time of year about 13 deg C. We were especially rewarded with been able to witness a Dolphin Bait Ball with Birds dive bombing, dolphins circling and some Southern Right Wales joining the fun.
