Seal Snorkeling Cape Town
Let Cape Town Bucket List take you on a once in a lifetime Cape Town adventure trip to snorkel and swim with the ocean's friendliest creatures, the Cape Fur seal.
Snorkeling is a great way to observe our beautiful underwater life without all the extensive training and complicated equipment required for scuba diving.
We will provide the wetsuit, mask. snorkel and fins as well as a short training session to make sure you are comfortable with the mask and snorkel.
The Cape Fur Seal (also known as the brown fur seal / African fur seal) is the largest and strongest fur seal weighing between 100 - 300kg. They are very friendly and curious in the water and enjoy human interaction, known as the puppies of the sea.

A fantastic experience! Our guides Sebastian and Chadley were great, took very good care of us and made sure we had the best time. We were also lucky enough to see dolphins on our way back in and the boat skipper made sure we had the best possible view of them.

What an enjoyable afternoon! This was well managed. Assistants were wonderfully helpful and attentive to participants. I had both my son and daughter joining my husband and me; when my son floated off without a parent in tow, he was carefully monitored by the assistant. The treat of hot chocolate onboard when returning to the harbour after the snorkel was especially welcomed!

Amazing experience, one of the best ever ! You really swim very close to the seals, they look at you, are curious, and make the show. The wetsuits are very thick so we were not cold. Perfect !
