The history of Soweto is closely tied to South Africa’s journey to freedom. Join us as we explore Soccer City, Kliptown (one of Soweto’s oldest districts), the Hector Pieterson Museum, Vilikazi Street (where both Mandela and Tutu once lived), finishing off with a traditional kota lunch.

Tour was different because apartheid museum was closed but the price didn't change. Full day but in reality it was just 1h more than half day. The guide was very professional and we really appreciate that.
I had an amazing time. The tour guide was well educated as he grew up in Soweto and was able to present a personal view. I was a solo traveller but was able to meet other solo travellers that made it even more fun. Highly recommend it.
We had a great tour of Soweto- it was really interesting to learn about this dark time in history.
