Mankwe Gametrackers Outdoor Adventures / Tours & Transfers began in 1979, and offers guests the opportunity to explore the Pilanesberg National Park. This wildlife reserve, situated in the crater of an extinct volcano, can be explored with balloon flights, game drives or even on foot! You’ll have a chance to see an incredible range of wildlife.
The park is home to the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant – and you’ll find 49 mammal species, 39 different reptile species and 394 recorded bird species. An Unforgettable Adventure: Thrilling Encounters on Our Game Drive! Our recent game drive was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we met our guide, Bongani, his infectious enthusiasm and passion for the African bush were evident. He wasn't just a guide; he was a storyteller, weaving fascinating facts about the animals and their environment into the experience. Bongani had a knack for finding the perfect balance between informative and entertaining. His witty humor kept the mood light, making the entire adventure a joy. We laughed along as he shared interesting tidbits about animal behavior and the park's history. But the true highlight was the incredible wildlife we encountered. Thanks to Bongani's expert tracking skills, we saw a magnificent array of animals, from the majestic lions lounging in the sun to the lazy hippos resting next to the water. We were awestruck by the sheer size of the rhinos and mesmerized by the graceful giraffes browsing on the trees. The absolute pinnacle of the experience was our encounter with a herd of elephants, probably 20 or more. Bongani expertly positioned the vehicle, allowing us to observe these gentle giants at a close distance. Witnessing their family dynamics and playful interactions was truly unforgettable. Overall, our game drive with Bongani was an exhilarating adventure filled with stunning wildlife sightings and informative commentary. His passion and expertise made it an experience we'll cherish forever. We highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking an unforgettable encounter with the wonders of the African wild!

Booking staff friendly, efficient and helpful. Pickup location convenient. Game drive safe, good snacks, cold after 5pm but no blankets. Guide gave interesting and amusing commentary, could have been more interactive and enthusiastic. All in all a good experience and great value for money. Highly recommended.
