Mankwe Gametrackers Outdoor Adventures / Tours & Transfers began in 1979, and offers guests the opportunity to explore the Pilanesberg National Park. This wildlife reserve, situated in the crater of an extinct volcano, can be explored with balloon flights, game drives or even on foot! You’ll have a chance to see an incredible range of wildlife.
The park is home to the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant – and you’ll find 49 mammal species, 39 different reptile species and 394 recorded bird species. Mankwe Gametrackers Outdoor Adventures / Tours & Transfers also offer quad biking trails, archery, clay target shooting, transfers and more from Sun City resort, for truly memorable experiences.

We really enjoyed the scheduled drive with Jeremy on Sept 2nd. His driving was at a perfect pace and we felt safe and in good hands, even when elephants came up close and personal to the vehicle. Jeremy was excellent at conveying the love of the nature in Pilanesburg without 'Disney-fying' anything. He shared his extensive knowledge in a way suited to both first timers and experienced safari persons. In short, something for everyone at the right level, regardless if the subject was nature, animals, birds or their interaction with each other. We would like to give him a huge thank you for giving us an memorable afternoon/evening in Pilanesburg. Because of this good experience with Jeremy, one in our party (Jeannette Nilsson) booked an exclusive drive on Friday September 5th at 05.30-10.30. The exclusive drive was also lead by an excellent ranger! (Sadly and shamefully she has forgotten his name. It may have been Tabo or something similar). He also shared the same enthusiasm for Pilanesburg and was brilliant at conveying it. Jeannette had a unique drive with him, and are so please to have done tracking together with him, even if they didn't manage to see a brown hyena. But the interaction of the 4 black rhinos, the cheetah sighting, the bird watching by the hide while having morning tea and 5 wonderful hours spend in the bush in the best possible company, is the highlight of her stay in Sun City.

Our booking with Mankwe was last minute and they were most accommodating to ensure we got to do a game drive. The game drive was awesome and our guide was very knowledgable and kept moving the vehicle so that everyone could get the perfect photo.
