Paragliding
This recreational adventure sport entails being suspended below a lightweight fabric wing while free flying.
Paragliding is a free-flying adventure activity in which participants are strapped into a harness and suspended below a lightweight fabric wing. Networks of suspension cables support the flier. Paragliding requires prior training in order to take off, brake, tackle thermals and land.
We suggest tandem glides for those with no prior skills. You will launch from higher ground into a wind stream by running; the wing will move upwards and carry you along. After a safety period you can relax and enjoy an hour or two’s ride. Paragliding is perfect for taking in aerial views.
Free-flyers, landscape enthusiasts and aerial adventurers.
To carry heavy gear uphill, the backpack-fitting wing is easily portable.
