Malalane is best known as one of the gateways to the Kruger National Park, and is home to Malalane Gate in the south, one of the Park’s entry points. Safari and wildlife activities in the Kruger National Park via Malelane are popular, due to its proximity to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.
Malalane also offers wildlife experiences and bird watching at animal rehabilitation centres, and you can even explore the Escarpment’s Blyde River Canyon with a boat cruise. Malelane is also a departure point for cultural experiences, such as tours to Maputo in Mozambique and day tours to Swaziland.
