Magoebaskloof Adventures specialises in adventure tourism, team building and youth development. We welcome day visitors, holidaymakers, youth groups and corporate clients, with appropriate facilities for all. To book for large groups, please contact our office directly.
Magoebaskloof Adventures has one of the most pristine locations in South Africa and a great deal to offer in the adventure department. We are situated on the banks of the Letaba river overlooking the beautiful Wolkberg mountains. These mountains are a northeastern subrange of the Drakensberg escarpment and it is here that you will find the highest point in Limpopo, the Iron Crown which is situated at approximately 2200m above sea-level.
We are situated between Haenertsburg and Tzaneen in the beautiful George’s Valley, a four-hour drive from Johannesburg, Gauteng.

A family visiting from the UK began their Limpopo journey in Magoebaskloof, where Love Limpopo organised the Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour for their very first day. It proved to be an immediate highlight, especially for eight-year-old Jake, but the whole family loved the experience. The 11 ziplines took them through spectacular indigenous forest, across gorges and above the river, with incredible views of the surrounding mountains and landscape. What stood out most was the guiding. The family commented on the professionalism, enthusiasm and sheer joy of the guides, Rexon and John, who brought the experience to life despite having done the route hundreds of times. Along the way, they shared fascinating insights into the forest, birdlife, geology and natural environment they were ziplining through. Exhilarating, informative and beautifully managed, it was a memorable way to begin their Limpopo adventure.
