Magoebaskloof Adventures specialises in adventure tourism, team building and youth development. We welcome day visitors, holidaymakers, youth groups and corporate clients, with appropriate facilities for all. To book for large groups, please contact our office directly.
Magoebaskloof Adventures has one of the most pristine locations in South Africa and a great deal to offer in the adventure department. We are situated on the banks of the Letaba river overlooking the beautiful Wolkberg mountains. These mountains are a northeastern subrange of the Drakensberg escarpment and it is here that you will find the highest point in Limpopo, the Iron Crown which is situated at approximately 2200m above sea-level.
We are situated between Haenertsburg and Tzaneen in the beautiful George’s Valley, a four-hour drive from Johannesburg, Gauteng.

This experience was absolutely breathtaking , the Letaba River Gorge has a variety of indigenous trees and flowers and the most amazing waterfalls that I have ever seen. I really enjoy landing at each platform and getting some insight from the guide on the flowers and trees surrounding the platform. The guides are so amazing , they displayed so much patience and knowledge about the gorge. They went through each and every step regarding safety and ensure that all the participants were comfortable before proceeding. We had an opportunity to have our pictures taken on the zipline crossing the waterfalls and other platforms. The tour guide , John was so encouraging towards my son and motivated him to get the most from the experience. I really appreciated this.

This adventure experience was one I did not expect... The guides were absolutely amazing and so honest, we understood the river can be dangerous and that we needed to listen and follow instructions to the fullest, our safety was their first priority and that us feel at ease throughout the experience. I would really like to thank the guides for all the patience and making this experience the most memorable.
