Nyosi Wildlife Reserve

Whether you wish to escape and relax, or to explore and reconnect with nature, Nyosi Wildlife Reserve caters for both the discerning and the adventurous.

How to Enjoy Nyosi Wildlife Reserve

Nyosi Wildlife Reserve is a pristine nature and wildlife reserve located at the heart of what conservation icon Dr Ian Player once identified as the "new wilderness frontier".

Nestled by urbanisation and set within an expansive 2 500-hectare land parcel, the reserve is made up of five of South Africa’s nine indigenous biomes sprawling across rolling and picturesque plains and valleys; lands which host a natural sanctuary to an abundance of wildlife, plains game and birdlife.

Fresh fynbos-scented air, a picture-perfect scenery, and free-roaming wildlife all come together to provide a unique indoor/outdoor experience for visitors of all ages.

Nyosi Wildlife Reserve offers not only the tranquillity brought about by being surrounded by nature, but also a variety of family-friendly entertainment options that allow its guests to relax in a natural and safe environment, and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Good day Unfortunately I cannot give a good review for the wine tasting . When we arrived were given Annabelle sparking wine, not MCC , 1ST problem Then they brought out the wines, 2x Protea and a House wine. Protea wine costs under R100 a bottle , not a great wine. The House wine is aweful , probably the worst wine i have ever tasted. Not impressed, if you want to change R155 for wine tasting you need to improve your selection . Top wine farms in Cape town charge less and are better value for money. The lunch was nice , the staff service good. The road is terrible. Maybe offer a shuttle service from the start of the gravel road to the game reserve. Thanks
