Nyosi Wildlife Reserve is a pristine nature and wildlife reserve located at the heart of what conservation icon Dr Ian Player once identified as the "new wilderness frontier".
Nestled by urbanisation and set within an expansive 2 500-hectare land parcel, the reserve is made up of five of South Africa’s nine indigenous biomes sprawling across rolling and picturesque plains and valleys; lands which host a natural sanctuary to an abundance of wildlife, plains game and birdlife.
Fresh fynbos-scented air, a picture-perfect scenery, and free-roaming wildlife all come together to provide a unique indoor/outdoor experience for visitors of all ages.

A Wonderful Birthday Experience at Nyosi Wildlife Reserve On 15 August 2026, my sister in Christ and I had the pleasure of visiting Nyosi Wildlife Reserve to celebrate my birthday, and what a beautiful experience it was! Although we arrived a little later than expected, the staff were incredibly understanding, welcoming, and warm. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely valued and well taken care of. A special mention goes to our wonderful waitress, Zizipho, who was absolutely amazing. Her kindness, professionalism, and friendly service truly made our experience even more memorable. The breakfast was also delicious and beautifully prepared. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the game drive. It was a top-tier experience! We learned so much about the different animals, their behaviour, and their natural surroundings, while also having the opportunity to see some of the beautiful wildlife that Nyosi has to offer. I would highly recommend Nyosi Wildlife Reserve to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, the wildlife experience is exceptional, and the prices are very affordable. Thank you to the entire Nyosi team, and especially Zizipho, for making my birthday celebration so special. I truly had an amazing time and would happily visit again! Definitely a place worth visiting --- come and create beautiful memories of your own! ??

The service was perfect. Every stuff member that we interacted with was extremely polite. The beef stew we ordered was amazing, but every other meal was not up to the beef stew standard.
