Nyosi Wildlife Reserve
Whether you wish to escape and relax, or to explore and reconnect with nature, Nyosi Wildlife Reserve caters for both the discerning and the adventurous.
Nyosi Wildlife Reserve is a pristine nature and wildlife reserve located at the heart of what conservation icon Dr Ian Player once identified as the "new wilderness frontier".
Nestled by urbanisation and set within an expansive 2 500-hectare land parcel, the reserve is made up of five of South Africa’s nine indigenous biomes sprawling across rolling and picturesque plains and valleys; lands which host a natural sanctuary to an abundance of wildlife, plains game and birdlife.
Fresh fynbos-scented air, a picture-perfect scenery, and free-roaming wildlife all come together to provide a unique indoor/outdoor experience for visitors of all ages.
Nyosi Wildlife Reserve offers not only the tranquillity brought about by being surrounded by nature, but also a variety of family-friendly entertainment options that allow its guests to relax in a natural and safe environment, and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Came for the wine, stayed for the vibes! Everyone was so sweet, the view was a dream, and yes... I left with a bottle of their local wine because how could I not?

We had a really great experience with Jack. A friendly and well informed guide. He gave us a lot of detailed information together with our daughter who has followed the wildlife minor at Nyosi (Stenden), from August 4 till October 3. He showed us a lot of nice spots, animals and explained why we couldn't follow the road further down because of the olifants lower in the valley. Saw a snake rushing under the bush and he did everything to make this a special drive. Thanks again Jack. We left with a lot of extra detailed information about the parc and the animals. And we are really glad you could show us this special spot together with our daughter.
