Sailing across Knysna’s expansive liquid landscape on board Springtide Charter’s sleek 50ft mono hull yacht is a truly memorable experience. A definite must do activity when visiting the Garden Route. Departing daily from the popular Knysna Waterfront, Springtide Charters offers a variety of different sailing charter options. Our highly experienced crew will take to the helm so you can relax and take in the splendour of our rugged coastline; sailing, salt air and scenery all an exhilarating combination.
Knysna is one of South Africa’s premier whale watching destinations, its indigo depths teeming with hundreds of migrating whales. Ocean Odyssey is the only Close Encounter Whale Watching permit holder for the Greater Knysna area. Throughout the year we also offer Marine Eco-Tours. We are passionate about showcasing both the whales that frequent our local waters as well as the many other fascinating species that exist within the complex web of marine life. Although it has been a while, we can remember that the guests had a great time. What they indicated was that it was wonderful to be on board with very few people (6 or 8), they loved the pletter with snacks and the drinks. What they found unfortunate is that they could not go through the heads (because of the weather). Best regards, Ricardo

We had a wonderful tour with the guys and were very impressed with how our captain maneuvered through the Knysna Heads. Unfortunately we didn't see any animals, but we were there outside of whale season. We can definitely recommend the operator. Thank you very much!
