Our highly experienced crew will take to the helm so you can relax and take in the splendour of our rugged coastline; sailing, salt air and scenery all an exhilarating combination.
Knysna is one of South Africa’s premier whale watching destinations, its indigo depths teeming with hundreds of migrating whales. Ocean Odyssey is the only Close Encounter Whale Watching permit holder for the Greater Knysna area. Throughout the year we also offer Marine Eco-Tours. We are passionate about showcasing both the whales that frequent our local waters as well as the many other fascinating species that exist within the complex web of marine life. Excellent !! We were lucky to see a number of whales, even though they didn't breach, but they were SO close! Also saw dolphins, an otarie and albatros!! We had a very good skipper too, as the waves were quite 'choppy'.
