Our highly experienced crew will take to the helm so you can relax and take in the splendour of our rugged coastline; sailing, salt air and scenery all an exhilarating combination.
Knysna is one of South Africa’s premier whale watching destinations, its indigo depths teeming with hundreds of migrating whales. Ocean Odyssey is the only Close Encounter Whale Watching permit holder for the Greater Knysna area. Throughout the year we also offer Marine Eco-Tours. We are passionate about showcasing both the whales that frequent our local waters as well as the many other fascinating species that exist within the complex web of marine life. What a treat! Was amazing! We saw dolphins! The skipper used all his knowledge to get us to see dolphins. Also showed us a lot of special rock formations! He was very knowledgable! We were treated with respect and professionalism! From booking to boarding and trip was excellent! I would highly recommend it.

We throughly enjoyed our sailing experience on New Years Eve. What a great way to end the year. The Captain and Crew were super helpful and we were very lucky with the weather which allowed us to sail through the heads. the light supper was also very pleasant - Highly recommended
