Sanctuaries are created for the protection of endangered or rescued animals The wildlife sanctuaries are established to protect the endangered species. It is not always suited to relocate animals from their natural habitat, protecting these animals in a natural habitat is advantageous. If animals are fully rehabilitated they are often released back into the wild.
