Bush Walk
Be led on foot by field guides through a bush landscape to view wild fauna and flora.
Take a pleasurable bush walk through wild savannah, and make the most of seeing local natural vegetation, geographical features, insects, small mammals, birds and wildlife. A field guide, who is familiar with the region and knowledgeable about its fauna and flora, will usually lead a bush walk.
Walking boots with thick socks, comfortable outdoor clothing, sunscreen and a hat are recommended. Taking binoculars along on your bush walk means you can track wildlife from further away, and a camera captures those close encounters. It’s important to remember the golden rule of leaving no traces.
Hikers, nature enthusiasts and botanists.
Going unprepared - weather can affect walks; take rain kit and enough water.
